Payroll Administrator:

  • Process weekly payrolls for Union contractor
  • Receive and review payroll records ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, regulations, and Union contracts.
  • Prepare payroll and all related reports including tax payments, Union payments, child support and garnishments, and year end reports.
  • Enter daily Union driver tickets into Ticket Management software for weekly payroll.
  • Collect timesheets on a weekly basis and review for accuracy, and actively follow up on all discrepancies.
  • Responsible for new employee setup, terminations, and layoffs.
  • Make sure we are paying correct prevailing wage rates per job and contract.
  • Research and analyze regulatory updates and information that impacts the payroll system and implement required changes.
  • Responsible for overseeing and managing all company PTO requests.
  • Make sure all OCIP and CCIP jobs are reported accurately and timely.
  • Create and distribute weekly certified payrolls.
  • Manage current CDL and Medical Certificates, and run Motor Vehicle Reports for all drivers that are Union and non-union.
  • Responsible as backup to other payroll administrator.
  • Support for accounting team members and ongoing accounting department initiatives as required.

Knowledge & Experience:

  • At least 3 years of Union payroll experience (construction preferred), including processing Union payroll.
  • Able to work in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to deal with situations involving sensitive and confidential company issues.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate with all levels.
  • Able to write reports, business correspondence.
  • Able to organize work, engage in a variety of tasks simultaneously and consistently meet deadlines.
  • Able to perform duties independently.
  • Accounting experience.
  • Able to recommend and implement process improvements.
  • Strong attention to detail.

    Salary: $57,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year
